I bought some yummy looking croissant rolls yesterday and I need a really good chicken salad recipe to fill them!! Does anyone have a fabulous recipe they could share with me?!?
This is the total best ever you will need chicken, celery, red onion, pecans, salt and pepper and crasins and some mayo cook and cube the chicken, chop some celery and red onion and pecans add to the chicken, add the crasins (I like the cherry crasins best) and some mayo and a dash of salt and pepper. How much you use of everything just depends on how much you want in it! Hope you like it!
K, I JUST made this last night, and I forgot how much I loooooooove this recipe!!! :0) It's so easy, and it's fresh and yummy. I'm just not a huge onion and mustard fan. It seems like most of the recipes call for a lot of that... Anyway, here it is if you want to try it sometime. :0)
2 big cans of chicken (or fresh cooked and cubed/shredded chicken) 1 large can of pineapple tidbits drained 1/2-1 cup of red seedless grape cut in half...I like a lot...whatever you like. 1-2 celery stems chopped 1-2 green onion stems chopped Mix these all together
In another bowl mix together... 1/2-3/4 C. Mayo 1 T. salt 1/3 T. pepper
Then add the mayo mix to the salad. I loooooove adding salted cashews or candied almond slices to my sandwiches after I put them together. Mmmmmmmm!!!
And, seriously, so funny that we just made this yesterday. I'm having the left overs for lunch today. :0) Enjoy Becca!
K...if anyone wants to actually do that recipe that I left earlier....DON'T put in a TABLESPOON of salt and pepper!! hahahaha... it is 1 TEASPOON of salt and 1/3 TEASPOON of pepper. :0)
"To laugh is to risk appearing a fool, To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out to another is to risk involvement, To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self. To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss. To love is to risk not being loved in return, To live is to risk dying, To hope is to risk despair, To try is to risk failure. But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live. Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom. Only a person who risks is free.
The pessimist complains about the wind; The optimist expects it to change; And the realist adjusts the sails."
