ROCK STAR - Candy IPod - Valentine Party Favor

This colorful and hip Valentine is so much fun! I'm demonstrating how to make these at Young Women's mutual tonight!

It's created from a box of candy conversation hearts is covered in colorful patterned paper. Candy Reese's headphones are attached with a string. A playlist is printed on paper.

February's Visiting Teaching Message is "Managing Resources Wisely and Staying Out of Debt." This kit demonstrates the need to tighten our purse strings, and includes an embellished purse with fake money and President Monson as printed on the dollar bill! :-) The back of the bill contains portions on the message and each coin represents the "5 steps" to financial freedom. A delicious "Better Than Anything" cake recipe is also included!

Happy 5th Birthday Josh!

My Handsome Little Man Turned 5!! I remember the day he was born and that I had to negotiate with the in-laws to bring me Pizza Hut breadsticks to the hospital in order for them to see their Grandson because I was STARVING! :-)

Joshua is such a smart little guy! He loves to learn and tries so hard to please everyone. He is such a great brother to his sister, Brooklyn. He asks daily when we can buy him a baby brother!

He loves everything boy! Trucks, transformers, playing ball bakugans, dinosaurs, and getting dirty!! He idolizes his Daddy and copies his every move!

Joshua, I love you baby!! Happy Birthday!

Josh chose a Bakugan themed b-day party and couldn't have been a happier little boy that day!

Merry Christmas!!

We had such a wonderful Christmas season!! We spent time with friends decorating cookies and acting out the Christmas nativity, and making way too many goodies!

Our Christmas Day was so nice and relaxing!! We spent the entire morning opening presents and playing with the kids. It was so much fun watching them open presents! Brooklyn has the most animated facial expressions, and I caught one on camera! They had so much fun! We then spent a wonderful evening with Keith and Brigetta over a delicious ham dinner and games! Merry Christmas!
